Blood Donor = Great Donor
Today we will talk about a topic that is only related to Humanity and is also related to Charity, in fact, it is called Mahadaan (Great Charity).
History;
The History of World Blood Donor Day
The date, 14th June, was chosen to honour the birthday of Karl Landsteiner, an Austrian scientist who discovered the ABO blood group system in 1901, This discovery laid the foundation for safe blood transfusions and modern blood banking.
Donation days like World Blood Donor Day are closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as they represent concrete actions that contribute to achieving these global goals. In particular, blood donation aligns with SDG 3, which focuses on good health and well-being by supporting access to essential medical treatments. Donation, whether of blood, money or other resources, plays a vital role in funding initiatives and programmes that address various SDGs, including poverty eradication, education and environmental sustainability.
A Great Example of Humanity;
If we look at this entire transaction, we will find that we humans have immense sympathy for each other in our hearts, and we can go to any extent to help any needy person in the society, this is a sign that humanity is found in large quantities in our hearts.
It is a matter of great joy for us humans that some of us, understanding our moral responsibility, help people even in emergencies, and whenever they receive a message through any medium that someone needs blood, then these heroes of humanity, without caring about the time, reach to fulfill the need of that needy person, because emergencies do not wait.
Donating something from your body is a proof of being a big hearted person, salute to all the blood donors for this noble deed.
The Color of Everyone's Blood is Red;
This is a great lesson for those who are concerned with humanity that the colour of the blood of all of us is red and those who consider themselves superior on the basis of their caste, religion or city, when they need blood, they do not see that the person who is doing them a favour by donating blood belongs to which caste, religion or city.
An Appeal;
Grace of Almighty I have been associated with social service for the last 5 years and I have noticed that whenever someone needs blood, if he is a localite, then his family, clan or friend circle together consists of thousands of people, but when this person needs blood, his messages go viral in the whole city that this person needs one unit of blood.
It is very strange to see this, because we invite 1000 or 1500 people in weddings, and now even 500 people gather in small functions, and we pour out the ocean of love for each other in photography, and no such angle is left out during this photography, but when any of these people needs blood, then out of the 8 or 10 people who are close to a person, no one is ready to donate blood.
That is why we should prepare a team of such people among us, that if someone needs blood, then this need can be fulfilled by these people, so that the treatment of that person can start on time, because the treatment of some people is delayed due to this reason also, because they are unable to arrange blood.
Thank you
