“Wafa Sarisht Mein Hoti To Saamne Aati”

“Wo Kya Falaq Se Nibhayengen Jo Zameen Ke Nahin"

I have made my point through this Ashar (Couplets). Although I often use a Ashar in the middle or at the end of an article to complete it, But here it seemed appropriate to use this couplet at the beginning to support the topic I am about to cover.

Positive Human Behavior and Society;

In this article, we will discuss positive human behavior, which is crucial for improving our society.

When we humans live well with other humans in this world, treating each other with respect, maintaining the dignity of relationships, being loyal to them, and fulfilling our responsibilities, then we create a good society.

When we care for others, we become mindful of them. When such a chain of thinking develops, more and more people come under this umbrella of humanity.

Then it will become much easier for humans to escape the devil disguised as a human being. Looking at the increasing crime rate in this world, it can be estimated how much we humans are becoming enemies of humanity itself, where no one is safe from us.

Ab Sabko Sabse Khatra Hai”

A Reflection on Nature and Gratitude;

For some time now, I’ve only had virtual meetings with a guide, well-wisher, and friend who lives thousands of kilometers away and knows me only through Medium. He pointed out how indifferent we humans are to nature, and how utterly ungrateful we have become.

Nature provides us with pure things every moment, yet we return impure things to nature.

This led to a discussion about pollution, about how we can control this disaster caused by humans. We exchanged ideas, and then I studied the subject further.

Major Types of Pollution;

To better understand and explain the issue, it’s important to discuss the types of pollution. The most common include:

Air pollution – The release of harmful substances into the air, such as industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, and ash.

Water pollution – The discharge of harmful chemicals, waste, and pollutants into rivers, lakes, oceans, and groundwater.

Land or soil pollution – Hazardous chemical waste and other pollutants degrading soil quality.

Noise pollution – Unwanted or excessive noise from vehicles, construction, and other human activities.

Thermal pollution – An unnatural increase in water or land temperature caused by industrial and energy processes.

Light pollution – Excessive artificial lighting that impacts natural environments and night skies.

Radiation pollution – Exposure to harmful radiation from nuclear plants, medical equipment, and electronic gadgets.

Loyalty to Nature vs Loyalty to Ourselves;

This has been about nature, but I want to discuss this in relation to us humans: how can we be loyal to nature when we are not loyal to ourselves?

We all believe in humanity, which makes it our duty to meet the needs of anyone in need, as it is essential to maintaining balance in society.

We often hear the example of Robin Hood, who robbed the rich and helped the poor. In our world today, when a country goes bankrupt, the whole nation suffers because of the misdeeds of politicians. Yet people still sacrifice their lives for them.

Neighboring countries extend help, even while being heavily indebted themselves. Similarly, when natural disasters strike, aid pours in from around the globe.

Politics, Responsibility, and Pollution;

I see that cunning politicians and governments have held us humans responsible for everything. In our struggle for livelihood, we have begun to consider breathing itself as freedom. Through misinformation, we have started believing ourselves guilty.

But our responsibility towards nature is not limited to individuals or society, it lies most heavily with those to whom we hand over the reins of politics and governance.

For example, if a factory is set up in a city and causes pollution, the general public cannot be blamed for it. Residents don’t grant permission for factories, nor do they decide industrial zoning. This responsibility lies with governments and administrations who approve policies and grant environmental clearances. Without their consent, no factory can operate.

Therefore, when pollution becomes a problem, it is misleading to claim that it can be solved only through citizen awareness. "Yes", citizens have a role, they pay taxes and fulfill their responsibilities. But the greatest responsibility lies with governments: not only to raise awareness but to enact strict laws and ensure their strict enforcement.

The average person cannot spend their entire lives spreading awareness. They have families, jobs, and obligations. They expect the government, in return for their taxes, to ensure a safe and clean environment. This is the soul of true democracy: the ruler must protect the health and existence of their citizens.

Humanity, Relationships, and Nature;

This is about humanity itself. When we don’t maintain good relations with those we know neighbors, relatives, friends and spoil them because of selfishness, ego, or anger, how can we be loyal to nature?

When we ignore the emotions of people around us, when we dismiss their tears, how can we expect the silent nature to care for us?

Everything in this world, humans, animals, trees, plants, has life of its own. But we humans, in our ignorance, fail to recognize it.

And we are so selfish that we only care for ourselves, while the universe is not about me or you, it is about all of us. Humanity, animals, plants, the earth: together they form the universe, and we are accountable to each.

Conclusion;

So I conclude with this: Only when we humans are good to other humans will we be good to nature. Otherwise, we are nothing more than termites, eating away at nature and destroying our own existence.
